Find the lowest gas prices in your area

Use a website that allows you to comparison shop for the lowest gas price in your area. It's not unusual to find that the lowest priced gas station is charging 30-40 cents than the highest. For a full tank in a typical car, that could be a difference of $6.

These sites allow you to enter your zip code, or city and state, and a maximum distance that you are willing to drive for a better deal. Then, they return a list of the lowest prices for the grade of fuel you want to purchase, with maps and directions to each gas station.
