I wait to see what's left over in the piggy bank after all the gift buying and only then do I choose for myself LOL. You know you're getting old when it's an afterthought. :) So what are you all wanting Santa to leave under your tree for you?

I want a gift card that I can spend in the January sales. I don't care where it's for really either as long as they have either clothes, DVD's or books. Those are the things I splurge on. JCPenney would be fine or Amazon.

I promised not to pick a household item. My husband hates when I do that. I think it's better to get a gift I'd use like a new mixer (hint, hint) instead of earrings or something like that that I would wear once a year. He thinks I'm unromantic LOL. :) But it's what I want!

I would be crushed if I was handed a mixer! All that would stir would be trouble hahaha. I want a personal gift, not an appliance. I could do with a new watch for everyday use.

You could send me your earrings if you don't want them. ;)

I don't ask because I like surprises and my husband likes to surprise me. I just leave brochures strewn around open at strategic pages. It's all done very casually and technically I'm not asking for boots, no sir hehe. :)

I want peace and goodwill to all men. Failing that, thermal underwear. I'm not spending another winter with my teeth chattering!

LOL, I don't blame you then if it gets that bad. I'm all for the peace and goodwill even if it only manages to extend around our Christmas table. Anything else I'm not fussed about. When it gets this close, I want it done and dusted. I'm tired of thinking, planning and shopping.

I am too. I wish I felt more festive! Hubby's job looks like they'll be cutting back his hours in January, so it's not easy to keep cheery. I don't want it spoiled though!

Keep your chin up Kay. What happens, happens. When it's beyond your control, there's no point in worrying about that. You'll manage. Enjoy the holidays as much as you can and your family. :)

I want a Porsche. Not under the tree though. Tire tracks indoors aren't a good look. ;)

I second that. Stay positive and do the best you can with what you have, Kay.

About that Porsche : tearing down a wall to get it in would be too much work for Santa anyway. He's a busy man.

Tsk tsk, Savannah. Did you forget about Santa's magic key?

Kay, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you it doesn't come to that. I got my thermals. Miracles do happen LOL.

Re: What do you want for Christmas?

I never got a watch. My hint dropping skills must be fading LOL. I didn't get anything that was household related, thank goodness. I did get a lovely winter coat that I needed and lots of small stuff.  My husband only made that  appliance mistake once and was never allowed to forget it.

I got my gift cards and only because I reminded everyone that I really did want that and wasn't kidding. I hate it when they buy you a different gift just so they have a parcel to wrap!
