I wanted to share this warning about these tree candle holders from Michaels Arts and Crafts stores. The article also includes warnings about pillar candles from Bed Bath and Beyond and taper candles from Yankee Candle. I don't know about you guys but I love candles.

Yikes! I do too, cookiefan. The Bed Bath and Beyond candles are lovely too. I only shop there when it's for a gift or a sale's running. Thank goodness I didn't get any from their store or the Yankee Candle range either! I would have looked for bargain candles there after Christmas, definitely.

I feel sorry for the Christmas shoppers that bought these as gifts and now had to run and exchange them at the last minute!

I feel even more sorry for the shoppers that didn't see the notice and handed them out on Christmas Day!

That's just what I was thinking, bringmeroses. I'd never forgive myself if a person was hurt because of any gift. You would think with them being well known stores everything would comply with safety standards.

I know! I think Yankee Candle are what Hobby Lobby carries mostly. You can find that brand all over the place. Thanks for warning us, cookiefan.

I appreciate the warning too because I like to buy good candles in the sales that I'd not pay full price for. Lucky you said that, cookiefan, or I might have got a dud.
