Tis the season of seasonal changeover apparently. Two stores that I was in today were starting to reduce their summer ranges of clothing. Start looking now before everyone else catches on! There's a whole load of warm weather left before we'll need to start digging out those jeans and sweats again despite what the calendar says.

I like layers more too, greenmachine. I get too hot in sweaters and hate the way they make your coat sleeves really tight. It's a good time to buy those stappy vest tops as well for under the tshirts.

I was just looking at the calendar. First day of Autumn is officially Sept 23 and I know I don't often drag out my winter woolies until the start of December. I'll be in tshirts for another couple of months definitely. Thanks purplerain!

I noticed some clothing racks full of browns and greens getting moved around the store this afternoon when I was in Wal-mart too and made a mental note to check out what's on clearance in the next few days. Wise minds think alike, purplerain. :)

Best thing you can buy is a swimsuit or bikini. They are a steal when the sales start! I haven't bought one at full price in years. :)

I like all the brightly colored underwear they have in the stores in summer. I looked today and there was lots of coral and turquoise sets so I'll be getting them when they are on sale. I managed to pick up a couple of bargain tshirts today. :D Wearing bright stuff makes a dull winter day a little better. :) Thanks again for tipping us off, purplerain.

I think our stores must be a little behind because I've not seen that much clothing on sale yet. All the garden stuff is and outdoors things like plastic tableware and kiddie pools. I hope they catch up soon! :)

Time to stock up!
Good! I was thinking I needed to splash out on some new t-shirts when they started and I knew it couldn't be far away. T-shirts are excellent for layering in the winter if you don't like big bulky sweaters.
