When I lived in El Paso a number of years ago it was a great place to live~inexpensive, good weather, nice border town etc. but now it's across the Rio Grande ditch from the deadlist city in the world~Cuidad Juarez, MX. Of course, it's always been across the RG from Juarez, but Juarez only got bad in the last few years.
I'd be too scared to live there, micharch. I don't understand how it made that list of the safest places to live then. Weird.

El Paso's on that list? I don't know where I got this from but I thought it was an unsavory place. I must be confusing it with somewhere else that has a similar name. That's a good list to have if we're ever thinking about a change of scenery. :)
When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a rose with the other.
