“Hello. This is Rachel from cardholder services. There are no problems currently with your credit card account but it’s important that you act fast in order to reduce your interest rates.”
And then she goes on to say,
“Please consider this your final notice. Press 1 to talk to a representative about lowering your interest rates or press 2 to receive no further calls.”

Has anyone else received this robo call? I have received it about every couple of months and always hang up. They must be selling something, perhaps a credit card. Seems like a waste of their money to me, but if they get even 1 out of 10,000 to select #1 they make cash.
This must be illegal if I am on the national DNC list (which I am), but I am not about to select #1 or #2 to find out.
I just did a quick search for the phrase and you're not alone in getting these. The majority think it's a scam. I'd report it.

I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole! These kinds of people make me sick. Some more naive person than any of us will hand over what they ask for.

No, can't say I have. I'm on the DNC list as well though. This is your final notice? That's rude. I think you're right and I wouldn't press it either.
What's weird is she doesn't identify the company name, just says cardholder services. That makes me wonder if it's a phishing scam, looking for people to hand over their current card's information.
