I was just wondering if any of you had started thinking about this. May 8th isn't far away.

I really like this coral colored glass pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings set. It's a real bargain, down from $70 to $17.59. Pearls suit moms of any age. :)

Accessorize with this beautiful three-piece set of coral color glass pearls. The 8mm glass pearls have a subtle glow and a smooth satin finish. Included in the set are a 15 3/4-inch necklace with a 3-inch extender and lobster claw clasp, a 7 1/2-inch bracelet, and a pair of matching post-set earrings.

I wouldn't mind this nice set of Ginsu knives that are half price. My knives never improve much when they get sharpened. I use them so much I would appreciate something like that. They are only 12.99 and free shipping.

I love the coral pearls, Zoey. They are nice and summery too and not so formal looking as white pearls. That set comes in other colors too from the same range-I saw green, sienna and red sets- and they were more expensive at $24.99. I don't think they were as nice as the coral one either.

Splash, if my kids gave me knives I'd be throwing them at them LOL. ;) I don't want any household stuff.

If you like your jewelry on the funky side this red swirl set is cool and has the nice heart shape that's ideal for a mommy gift. :) Use the Zoom button to see this at its best on the page.  $15.56 too! 51% off.

These are all great ideas! I think this candle holder is very unusual and elegant. It would be good for a mom that's hard to buy for. :) Just don't forget the tealight candles to go in it. It is reduced from $69.95 to $23.22.

This candleholder has slender curving stems that support iridescent amber lily blossoms, creating an elegant play of form and color. Place a tealight candle into each bloom to enhance the night with dazzling light. Glass, iron and acrylic. Tealight candles not included. Some Assembly Required. Measures: 10" x 10" x 24 1/4" high.

The Worldstock Fair Trade range at overstock.com is a good place to find something different. I liked these vases from Peru.
Not that cheap at $27.49 but very unusual, and you get two for that price. That gives you one for the mother-in-law as well.

Can you email this to my kids please? LOL. I really, really want that!  I also like this triple set of necklaces, all of which come individually boxed. It's $12.85 plus shipping. You can give one to your mom and keep two for gifts to give later in the year. The style would suit any age.

I like the tealight holder very much and would get the battery operated tealights to go in it instead of the ordinary wax candle type. That way I know it's nice and safe. :)

Go out for a nice lunch together. It's cheaper than an evening meal and there will be local special offers to pick from. Just check your local newspaper or Google Mother's Day Specials 2011 and your town and/or state if you want to find them. Best to make a reservation too.

Good idea, Zoey! I wouldn't do it unless they did have a deal on in my town because the local restaurants love to hike their prices on Mothers Day weekend. I wouldn't give them the extra money they ask on principle when I could go and get the same kind of meal on an ordinary day and pay a lot less. It's the same meal really with a couple more sides.
