I'd like to start afresh after the New Year. The only way I can see myself getting on course is to work out a budget. I've procrastinated on that forever but seeing it all in black and white could make a difference. Have you got one or do you know where I can get one?

How complicated a planner do you need, Savannah? You can get them on Excel spreadsheets with numerous columns or much simpler versions. I know I've got some bookmarked somewhere. Give me an idea what you think would be best and I'll go on the prowl for them. :)

Thanks Kay. I would like a simple one. I don't know one end of Excel from another. I don't think I need much more than covering income and outgoings like house, car, loans/credit cards, utilities and everything else do I? Or am I forgetting something? Anything too complicated would give me a reason not to do it.

Savannah I don't think you can get much simpler than this one. Budget Worksheet

Do you think that will be good enough for what you need? I can keep looking if you need something fancier. There's a list at the bottom of the most common items.

Thank you, Kay! That looks fine for me. If it had been any harder than that I would have printed it off and put it in a drawer probably. You just busted open my last excuse for not budgeting better LOL. Thanks, seriously. :)

Kay do you have a link to an Excel one as well please? I was telling my friend about the budget planner and she'd like a spreadsheet one. I promised I'd ask if you knew of where she could lay her hands on one. Thanks :)
