This interactive map from Yahoo! gives you local reuse group branches when you enter your city, state or zip.

Reuse groups like the Freecycle Network use email to offer items and arrange for pickup. Membership is free, and groups are moderated by helpful volunteers.
Get started by finding a reuse group in your area. Then sign up with Yahoo! Groups (if you're not already a member). That's how you'll get email about things being offered and where you can post your items to give away.

Good find there, Jewel! I've been intending to have a clearout in the New Year and getting it taken away by someone that could use my junk is okay with me. I have to declutter this house!

Me too, greenmachine. I've been procrastinating and it's a mess. My excuse was because I didn't have any way to get it taken away. My trash pick up only allows four bags a week or they charge extra. That doesn't help with anything that's not normal trash either like bigger household items. I'm going to have to find out about that too. Thank you Jewel. :)

Hey, that's great! I've read it just in time for my earlyish Spring cleaning too. Thanks for that Jewel!
