I don't even like being in the car when the darker nights are here. I'm always waiting for a deer to run out. The clocks change this weekend by the way, people! :)

I remembered to change mine, purplerain. I get paranoid I'll forget and end up setting them about 8 oclock at night. I've forgotten once in my life and thankfully wasn't working the next day. The deer will have a better chance of not being hit now. Thanks, cookiefan. :)

My husband nearly hit a deer the other morning on his way to work. He had to swerve to avoid it. Fortunately it was very early and there were no other cars on the road. That would have been just my luck with getting a new car too! They can do extensive damage as well as hurting themselves and the driver. Our neighbor's car had its whole front end crumpled after a big one sprinted out in front of him once.
