Bridal salons are uniting across America to donate and giving away wedding gowns to qualified military brides.
The wedding industry is making a difference and giving brides to be the opportunity to find the wedding gown of their dreams as well as aleviate some of the financial stess of purchasing a wedding gown.
Each store will be preparing a select number of gown to give away. Most of the gowns are samples and overstocks and are worth approximately $500 to $3000. Dresses range in sizes from 4-22 and will be given away on a first-come, first serve basis as long as you qualify.

I'm glad to see the article on Military.com because it sounded too good to be true! I'm getting skeptical in my old age. That's wonderful. :)
You and me both, Kay. I was thinking the same thing. How fantastic to save so much money on a wedding dress!
I think every bride deserves a beautiful big fancy wedding dress. I'm old fashioned like that. Not having to pay for it would make that all the more enjoyable! No guilt on the expense. :)
If I was one of those brides, I'd be paying it forward and donating the dress to a charity store or giving it to another bride when my wedding day had passed.

The gown that keeps on giving. I really, really like that idea. :)

Good for them! The dresses are such a big chunk of change out of the wedding budget too. I hope many girls get lucky with this giveaway. :)
