cookiefan, try adding the contents of a capsule of fish oil to her food every day. That helped my dog's coat improve when it got coarse. It softened the coat right up. You need to persevere with that for two months.

Ohhhhh that explains that then. I gave her fish oils before for a week and didn't see a difference so I quit. Thanks for the tip Savannah. I'll start her back on that.

You're welcome, cookiefan. That helped mine immensely. I bought them in the dollar store. That was the cheapest I could find. They were $4 I think for 50 and I used one a day. Don't even bother looking at pharmacies.

Fish oil is good for you as well. Get a double dose cookiefan. It comes in gel capsules so you don't taste it.

Thanks Jewel! Isn't it fish oil that's supposed to sharpen your mental concentration? I'm sure that's right. My nephew was encouraged to take a product like that to help him with his schoolwork.

That's right, bringmeroses. Fish oil contains Omega 3 fatty acids which are supposed to help that. My mom used to say eat your fish and you'll grow up brainy LOL. I guess she was smarter than me because I never believed her. :)
I'm going to use that on my dog. Her coat's been bone dry since spring and I don't know why. The conditioner I got her before isn't a help. There's no shine there at all. Thanks Jewel.
