Is this a well known book or is the author an authority on the subject, micharch? I'd like to know who I'm taking advice from first.

Hi Jewell,
 
I do not know the author personally, but I am aware of the investment philosophy that he writes about (seek the lowest expense ratio) and I am impressed with the accuracy of the info presented and it seems to be pretty well written for us common folk. Read it and see if it makes sense for you. What else can I say?

That's good enough for me, micharch. You know this stuff better than I ever will. You can't blame Jewel for asking since you're the guy that's been teaching us about being cautious! You must be rubbing off on us. :)
