Free National Park days coming up

Is it me or was there more last year than is listed for 2011? Anyway the first fee free National Park's days will be January 15-17(Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday weekend). This is the complete list.

I don't know. It feels like there was. Our weather better improve if I'm even going to think about venturing outside for a day out. Right now it's too cold and windy to enjoy that. I'll keep that weekend in mind! Thanks greenmachine. :)

Thanks for the new schedule, greenmachine! We're forecast to get our very first snow of the winter on Sunday and Monday. I know the parks are quieter earlier in the year but mid-January is too early for my liking. Of course if turns out nice I may decide to go. :)

Fee free days are always very busy. I think I'll look into what was mentioned at the end of the page instead. Thank you greenmachine. :)

Here’s a tip – many of your 394 national parks NEVER charge an entrance fee.

Ain't no sunshine, ain't going out LOL. I'll wait for the next free day to roll out in April. The flowers would be blooming then too and the park's would be a whole lot prettier. Thanks greenmachine! :)
