I wish we'd had this during that ice storm that knocked our power out for ten days. You get complacent about emergency supplies until you've been through a rough patch like that. Nowadays I have plenty of canned foods that could be eaten cold if necessary, just in case. It changes how you think.

Now you're making me want to go check my own cupboards, Kay. I don't keep a lot of canned goods apart from vegetables and don't fancy having to eat green beans for ten days. I better stock up on some more stuff! Thank you bringmeroses. :)
