I hate doing dishes. It makes me really grumpy, especially when I think I'm done for the night and a mystery glass or plate appears in the sink that came from a bedroom after I'd cleaned up. Make that two, Zoey! :)

My son is VERY guilty of that, or he used to be. I'd ask him too when I was doing them if he had anything and he'd say no, nothing. Cue him strolling in an hour later with a long forgotten mug. Know what the cure is, cookiefan? Make a rule that if anyone puts dishes in the sink after the dinner dishes are done, they need to wash them themselves. I was so sick of doing more dishes at ten o'clock at night when I thought the kitchen was tidy. They magically stopped appearing. Imagine that. LOL.

I've always fancied a dishwater. Aren't they expensive to run? I looked at them years ago and they weren't worth in increase in utility costs.

I don't think the running costs are as bad as they used to be, pennywise. I would look for Energy Star products.
