You look like a nice group here and I feel comfortable enough to ask. Do you manage to not let money worries get to you or do you find it disrupts your life? I need to know if I'm overreacting or not. I feel I can't enjoy anything in life for thinking about them.

Pennywise you're not the only one. Some nights I can't sleep for worrying about how we'll manage if anything happens. Any person that has a bill to pay would have your reaction. It's normal. I started a small job today and that's made me feel better. I'm not going to sit back and let circumstances beyond my control dictate my life for a minute more.

See, I told you you weren't the only one pennywise. :) It's hard not to worry. There's days I could climb the walls when I think about it for too long. But where does that get me? It doesn't change anything apart from wringing all my energy out of me. I come to places like this to pick up information that helps me stay sane and make an effort not to be down all the time about it.

They're right pennywise. You have three choices. Drive yourself crazy thinking about it, do something to lessen the worries or just ignore it altogether. Option one and three won't improve anything but option two might. If you don't feel up to that, read all the money saving tips you can and learn what's possible. Then on a good day you'll be ready to do something. :)

Thank you all for replying and so nicely as well. I was almost frightened to look. First because I thought what if no one's replied  and then when I saw the replies there I was worried that you had all said it was just me LOL. I'm in a better frame of mind today. It comes and goes. Thanks again. :)

Pennywise I can relate to what you're saying as well. I have days I feel it will all be okay and other days that we'll never get on top financially. It's part of life's highs and lows and will only take on as much importance as you let it in the worry stakes.

Take it one day at a time. You've got a whole 24 hours to find a way to make one small or big change that will help. Face the biggest monster first if you can and chisel away at that. You can go to the home page here and look under the category your biggest worry fits for advice or share with us what it is. Doing something instead of nothing at all always makes me feel better. Read, read and read some more.
