BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2010, when you sign up here to volunteer a day of service with a participating organization (and your service is completed and verified) you'll get one day admission to a Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® theme park, FREE! We want to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service.

There are some exclusion dates to pay attention to.
- The theme park tickets distributed under this Program will not be valid for use on the following dates:
- For Walt Disney World® Resort: March 29 - April 8 and July 4, 2010
- For Disneyland® Resort: February 13-14, March 21, June 21-22, July 4, November 21, and December 11-12, 2010.
I would think that would be overly hopeful, but who knows! Maybe it mentions that during the sign up.
Thanks Kay. :)
It's nice to see Disney giving something back. Volunteers are real unsung heroes. I used to volunteer and any kind of acknowledgement was very rare. Lucky I didn't do it for that! :)
I saw an ad for this on Hulu last night. Disney will do well from the business too I bet. They get pats on the back for offering this and people will still spend money while they are there, right? Souvenirs, food etc.

True. That's money you would spend anyway for the entry fee though. The entry fees aren't cheap.
I think it's commendable whatever way you look at it. Nice move, Disney! Maybe more companies will start valuing volunteers as well. :)

Nice post Kay.
It does not say it in that article, but I wonder if transportation to Disneyland is included in the package?
