1. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
   This Sweepstakes is sponsored by DFS Services LLC, 2500 Lake Cook Rd. Riverwoods, IL 60015 (the "Sponsor"). A total of 27,375 daily prizes will be awarded (75 per day for 365 days) plus a final Grand Prize of 1 Million Dollars.
   Beginning 1/1/10 through 12/31/10 ("Sweepstakes Period"), you will automatically receive one entry into a sweepstakes daily random drawing and into the Grand Prize random drawing each time you use your Discover Card to make a purchase or take a cash advance, either by using a check, an ATM, or at a financial institution, a casino or online ("Transaction"). Transactions must post to your account during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor is not responsible for any merchant delays in processing Transactions which may cause a Transaction to post after the Sweepstakes Period. Balance transfers are excluded from automatic entry. Transactions made with lost or stolen cards or card numbers do not qualify for entry. If you do not already have a Discover Card, go to discovercard.com/credit-cards/ for card application information. As a new cardmember, it may take up to 40 days to receive a new Discover Card. There is no cost associated with applying for or receiving a Discover Card. As used in the Official rules, "Discover Card" means a credit card product issued by Discover Bank; it does not include credit card products issued by any other entities.

1. NO PURCHASE, TRANSACTION OR CARD APPLICATION NECESSARY:
   To enter a daily drawing and to be entered into the final Grand Prize drawing without using a Discover Card, print your full name, address (no post office box addresses accepted), city, state, zip code and date of birth on a plain piece of 3" x 5" paper and mail in a stamped hand-addressed business-size envelope to: It Pays To Discover Everyday Giveaway Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 5625, Blair, NE 68009-5625.
   IMPORTANT: You must indicate on the lower front left side of your mailing envelope the date of the daily random drawing (from 1/1/10 through 12/31/10) you wish to enter. Limit one date per entry. If you wish to receive Bonus Entries (See Rule #2), the date you list must be a date within a Bonus Month and you must also print the corresponding Featured Category (for example: August 10th - Dry Cleaners). For each such eligible entry, you will receive an additional 4 Bonus Entries. All eligible mailed entries (including Bonus Entries) will also be included in the Grand Prize random drawing. Limit one entry per outer mailing envelope. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Illegible entries are void. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received in time for the entrant-specified random drawing. To be eligible for a daily drawing, your entry must be received no later than 5 business days after the date you have indicated on your entry envelope. To be included in the Grand Prize drawing, your entry must be received by 1/7/11.
2. RANDOM DRAWINGS:
   Separate daily random drawings will be conducted within approximately 10 business days following each day of the sweepstakes from among all eligible entries received for each specific day's drawing. The Grand Prize random drawing will be conducted on/about 1/10/11 from among all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Drawings will be conducted by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this offer. Eligible entries will be included in the drawing for the date your qualifying Transaction is posted to your account (per Rule #1) or the date you indicated on your mailing envelope (per Rule #3). Odds of winning a daily prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for that daily drawing. Odds of winning the Grand Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received throughout the entire Sweepstakes Period. Winners will be notified by mail.
3. PRIZES & VALUES:
   (1) Grand Prize - $1,000,000 (to be awarded as a check); (75) Daily Prizes (totaling 27,375 daily prizes) to be awarded as follows: (1) Prize of $500, (4) Prizes of $100 each and (70) Prizes of $25 each. Except the Grand Prize, all prizes will be awarded as a Discover Gift Card. Discover Gift Card terms and conditions apply for all gift card prizes. In order to be eligible to receive a prize, potential winner's Discover Card account(s) must be in good standing at time of winner selection. In the event that there is more than one authorized person on a Discover Card account, the primary Cardmember will be deemed the winner. Prize consists of only the item specifically listed as the prize. Limit one daily prize per person per day.
4. GENERAL RULES:
   Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the U.S. and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older as of time of entry. Employees of DFS Services LLC (Sponsor), and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. Potential Grand Prize winner will be sent an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release/Prize Acceptance Form which must be completed and returned within seven (7) days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification without further notice and an alternate winner will be selected. Daily winners winning prizes with an aggregated value of $600 or more will be required to execute a W9 form and their total winnings will be provided to the IRS, as is required by law. Sponsor may conduct a background check on the potential Grand Prize winner. Such background check may include (but is not limited to) investigation of employment history, criminal or other arrest or conviction record, and any other factor deemed relevant by Sponsor to help ensure that his/her participation in the sweepstakes will not, in Sponsor's sole discretion, bring Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on Sponsor. All federal, state and local income taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners may make no substitution or transfer of prize. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agree to hold DFS Services LLC and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and parent companies, and advertising and promotion agencies and the respective directors, officers, employees, and assigns of each (collectively, "Released Parties"), harmless against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person arising out of use of prize or participation in any sweepstakes-related activity. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use, in their sole discretion, each winner's name and state of residence and/or likeness for purposes of advertising/trade in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All materials submitted become sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Released Parties are not responsible for computer, network, technical, printing, typographical, human or other errors, problems or malfunctions relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including without limitation, errors, problems or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the announcement of the prizes, the processing of entries or in any sweepstakes-related materials; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, or fail to enter into the processing system for any reason; or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly; or are lost for any reason, including computer, telephonic, paper-transfer, or human error, or electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction, damage, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or any combination thereof. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Sponsor may prohibit a participant from participating in the sweepstakes or winning a prize (and void all associated entries) if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said participant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other participants or Sponsor's representatives. If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel the sweepstakes. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, award the prize for the drawing at issue from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received for such drawing up to time of such action. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
5. WINNERS:
   Names of the daily winners will be posted periodically at Discover.com/giveaway throughout the sweepstakes. The name of the $1,000,000 Grand Prize winner will be posted from 2/7/11-2/21/11.
