This isn't a joke. The offer comes from the NFB (National Federation for the Blind). You may know a family that could use that service.

The next time I'm passing our senior center in town I'll pop in and let them know about that. Thanks Zoey!

Good idea, Jewel. I'll do the same. We have many seniors in our community. Someone could benefit from knowing about that. Local hospitals would be another place to inform or nursing homes.

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a rose with the other.

I have an elderly neighbor that worries me sick because his eyes are so bad. I've seen him step out in front of traffic and it nearly gave me a heart attack never mind him. Luckily our street is very quiet. It only takes once though for an accident to happen. I wanted to have a quiet word with his daughter when I see her visiting next. I'll mention that too. Thanks Zoey. :)

Oh, I hope not too Savannah! :(

That's a very good freebie! Thanks Zoey. I'll share that with seniors I know too.

If he was ever to get behind a wheel I'd be sitting on his hood and confiscating his car keys to stop him! No, he doesn't. He used to have a car and last I saw his granddaughter drives it now. That was probably the family's way of taking it off him.
