I don't want to run up my electricity bill, especially when the AC's going to need turned on soon. I noticed the last few cycles the washing's not coming out as dry as it usually does. I'm not overloading the machine or at least not doing anything different with my loads. I so don't want to have to buy a new one right now....help on what I can do or try would be great.
I had a machine that the belt broke on and it was doing the same thing. Mine was soaking wet though. Yours doesn't sound as if it was as bad as that.
If it is the belt it won't be that expensive to get a new one and fix it. My brother-in-law fixed mine and he's no appliance repair guy.
There could be something stuck in the hose too, a small item like a sock or handkerchief. That's another possibility.
Thanks for all the ideas! I'll get hubby to move it over the holiday weekend and see what we can see. :)

Have you checked the filter, Kay? If that gets blocked even partially it can slow down the speed the machine drains at. Get your hubby to pull the machine out and look. It's worth a try.
